Keith Johnston (1844–1879) was a Scottish cartographer and geographer, son of the renowned Alexander Keith Johnston. He worked for the Edinburgh geographical publisher W. & A.K. Johnston — one of the most respected cartographic firms in Victorian Britain — and produced finely detailed maps of the Americas, Africa, and other regions for their atlases. His map of Mexico (1893) reflects the detailed geographical knowledge of late Victorian British cartography, at a time when Mexico's economic development was attracting intense British commercial interest.
