Copper engraving, handcolored in outline, when published. Fine and decorative world map in two hemispheres by Robert de Vaugondy, published in his atlas around 1780. The interesting map shows many engraved travel routes of explorers of the 17th & 18th century. We also find here Cooks' voyages to Australia, the Pacific and the Northwest coast of America.
