Original antique copper engraving, hand colored in outline and wash when published. Original antique map of the Lower Guinea and the individual kingdoms. Apparently not much was known about this area at the time of writing, only the coastline, the Congo and some apparently Spanish-occupied areas in the east with gold and silver mines are shown in the usual detail. The title cartouche is at the bottom left.
