Original copper engraving, hand colored in the periode when published ca. 1584 in the town books 'Civitates Orbis Terrarum' by Braun and Hogenberg. The entire series of the 'Civitates Orbis Terrarum' comprised six volumes and was published and printed from 1572 towards 1619. Decorative panoramic city view of Landshut in Bavaria. This highly decorative view showing the city of Landshut with the river Isar. This view by Braun and Hogenberg is based on the sketch after Hoefnagel.
