A very rare old colored engraving, which was published in the famous flower book,Hortus Nitidissimis onem per annum superbiens floribus...', one of the most famous large flower books published in the 18th century. This enormous rare series of beautiful flower prints, all hand colored when published, depictes an amazing choice of fine tulip prints, anemones, irises, etc. The engravings are engraved by J.M. Seligmann and A.L. Wirsing, many of them were engraved after sketches by Christoph Jakob Trew.
