Original antique copper engraving, uncolored. Pictured is the golf of Lepanto, place of the famous seabattle of Lepanto on october 7th 1571. On top of a hill is the castle, centered by the city itself. In the background are small maountains with forests, while in the foreground the Gulf of Lepanto with two ships is shown. The index at the bottom, numbered from 1 to 4, explains the different parts of the port city.
