Article descriptionCopper-engraving, handcolored in outline, when published. Detailled map by the French cartographer Sr. Robert de Vaugondy. The map pretty much to date on the newest cartographic sources for this period around 1752-55. The map shows accurate the government Picardie with the neighbouring Flandria. With many engraved place names of smaller cities and villages, rivers and mountains are shown as well. An ornated title cartouche is in the upper right corner of the map and next to it a mileage scale.
