Copper engraving, uncolored as published in Wouter Schoutens ,Reys-Togten naar en door Oost-Indien ...', Andries van Damme, Amsterdam, 1708. This fine engraving depicted is the conquest of Makasar (Mackasser) in Indonesia, South Sulawesi in June/July 1660. The view shows ships of the Dutch West Indies Company, in the background canoes and fortress of Ioupandan and Pannakoke.
