Copper engraving, hand colored in outline and wash. Originally hand colored copper engraving with decorative title cartouche. At the upper right side four engraved coat of arms of the duchies of Holstein. In the lower left corner we look at a large figurative allegoric title cartouche with a small mileage scale. The map shows the mouth of the river Elbe into the German Sea with Hamburg, Holstein, Dittmarschen, Stormarn and Wagrien.
