Copper engraving, decorative later hand colored, printed 1624 and published by B. Moretus in Antwerp. Original copper engraving, published 1624 in the Latin Parergon edition by Abraham Ortelius. Finely hand colored. It shows a view of Tempe in Thessalia at the foot of Mount Olympus. This illustrated Paradise represents a mixture of Greek myth and history. Moreover we find a cartouche with the "privilegium" in the lower right corner.Broe: 231
