Steel engraving, hand colored in outline when published. This antique map is detailed showing the state of New Jersey with the neighboring state of New York and Pennsylvania. Inside the map are many streets, place names, rivers, etc. In the lower right and left corners is information about the population and distance tables for routes to Trenton. At the bottom is a mileage scale. A detailed engraved map by the famous German map maker Meyer Joseph. The map is based on Tanner's work in the early 1840s.
